V8 applications. It features improved technology and design that keeps the air/fuel mixture cool all the way to the cylinder heads. The open air space in the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter valley cover, resulting in a cooler and denser charge for greater power. The runners have been tuned to raise the power band by 1,000 rpm compared to the original air-gap manifold—from idle-5,500 rpm to 1,500-6,500 rpm.
